Psychiatrist

Dr. Paul Waraich, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Waraich is a physician licensed to practice medicine in the province of British Columbia, Canada and he has specialty certification in psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. 

Dr. Waraich has worked as a consultation-liaison, emergency, inpatient and outpatient psychiatrist in the Vancouver area for 16 years and also works in medico-legal practice. In these various roles he is involved in the assessment and treatment of patients with acute and chronic mental health difficulties. Dr. Waraich commonly assesses and treats patients with various anxiety, mood, somatic, cognitive/attentional, psychotic and substance misuse disorders. 

Dr. Waraich also has a graduate degree in clinical epidemiology and he has conducted research in a variety of areas related to mental health services (click here for a list of Dr. Waraich's publications). Dr. Waraich maintains academic appointments with the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.

Emily McLellan, BSc

Emily graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2013. During her time as an undergraduate Emily worked as a research assistant in a number of labs and research centres. Since finishing school, Emily has worked in the software industry as a business development consultant. Emily's main areas of expertise are in new business development, R&D, marketing, automation and optimization. 

Emily joined the team in 2014 and manages our administrative operations and scheduling.
